Development of VentureAce.com

VentureAce.com was originally created in 2004, however we spruced it up in 2008 with a new design and extra functionality. The site was originally static and written in HTML. Using some neat .htaccess tweaks it's now coded in PHP! Though you would never know because most of the pages still show .htm. This preserved the architectural structure of the site and maintained its search engine rankings without the need for redirects.

The re-design focused mainly on CSS with the addition of background images to modernise the look. We also changed from a 2-column layout to 3-columns, allowing for extra link and advertising space. Another (important for SEO) attribute we employed was keeping the main content towards the top of pages, this was achieved this by floating each of the columns. We also did a considerable amount of on-page SEO.
