Domain Name News released a glowing article with the latest domain sales on Sedo. The headlining sale was Brazil.com for $500,000, followed by Payment.com for $250,000. An interesting acquisition to note for domainers was DomainAppraisal.com for $52,000. Hopefully the new owners will not follow the business model of the appraisal scam artists who send us emails offering 10 times the asking price.
In other news, it turns out Yahoo was the buyer of OMG.com for $80,000. They have an exisiting celebrity gossip site, omg.yahoo.com.
