This is an incredible sale on many counts. Firstly, the seller is the same person who sold Auction.com in a 7-figure deal earlier this year. Which shows the importance of experience when negotiating domain transactions. Secondly, the DNJournal article mentions that the seller wanted to buy another domain before turning his attention to DropShippers.com. Purely speculating, this could have been DropShip.com or DropShipper.com, which are shorter, and arguably superior domains.
Nevertheless this a great moment for the domain market and provides great inspiration for portofolio owners around the World.
